Sunday In The Garden

Today has been the first really nice day to be outside (when I was home) since I have moved here so I did a spot of gardening. I harvested some beetroot (beets) from the veggie patch:

I picked some wild flowers from the vacant lot across the road, which I put in a vase in the kitchen: I also found a neat little lead horse - such a fabulous found object now I just have to decide what to do with him.

Have a beautiful day!

  1. Lovely SUNDAY!! I love your beetroot and wild flowers.

  2. What a good start to your day. I did the garden thing yesterday and today is raining so will have to play nicely indoors. Love the wild flowers and now want to know where you found the horse? :)

  3. those beets look yummy....great photos.....have a fantastic day!

    enjoy *~*

  4. I love your Sunday 'finds'. The beets look wonderful ... I really need to get started on my vege garden.

The flowers are beautiful too ... what a lovely discovery.

But perhaps most of all I adore the horse (I love horse related things) ... he's beautiful!! :)
(I can't wait to hear what you do with him)

  5. Great photos. Love your wild flowers.

  6. That horse is great, and bon apetit for whatever you make with the beets!

  7. I need to get me some wild flowers now =)))

What a cute find! Would love a little treasure like that.

  8. Wonderful beetroot - I admire anyone that can grow vegies and flowers. I am not so good at it. Have a great a great weekend :)
